Kemi Pinheiro (SAN), Chairman

A renowned Legal Practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Kemi Pinheiro is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nigerian Wire & Cable Plc. Mr Pinheiro graduated from the University of Benin where he bagged his LLB. Degree in Law in 1986. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987 and the Inner Bar as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2006. A Fellow of the Institute of Arbitration of Nigeria and Member, Institute of Directors (loD), a Notary Public and Director of several companies in Nigeria. He is the Senior Partner of Pinheiro & Co., a Lagos based firm of Legal Practitioners.

Gordon K. Anampiu, MD/CEO

Gordon holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University Of Nairobi in Kenya. In the 21 years since his graduation he has held various senior positions in the vehicle assembly, battery manufacturing and wire and cable manufacturing industries.

Immediately prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Nigerian Wire and Cables Plc, Gordon held a similar position at East African Cables Tanzania where he was instrumental in ensuring that the company operated with the highest levels of efficiency, profitability and transparency.

Gordon has attended numerous training courses and brings a wealth of experience to Nigerian Wire and Cable Plc.

Osa Osunde holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers. He is also a member of the following professional bodies and business groups: Institute of Management Consultants (AIMC); Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM); Institute of Directors of Nigeria (loD); Association of Arbitrators of Nigeria (MAArb.N); Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT); Council the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the Capital Market Commitee of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce and Council of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

He has attended various management and professional training courses within and outside Nigeria. He is the Managing Director/CEO of Fidelity Finance Company Limited and Chairman of Afribank Pic.

A seasoned Administrator and Management Expert, Adebayo Jimoh is currently the Group Managing Director of O’dua Investment Company Limited     which has a 15% Shareholding in Nigerian Wire and Cable Plc. He graduated from the University of Ilorin with a B.Sc. Second Class Upper degree in Guidance and Counseling and also had double Masters Degrees, one in Industrial Psychology from the University of Ibadan and the other, an MBA from Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) Business School.

Mr. Jimoh is a Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Marketing, Certified Member of The British Institute   of Marketing, Nigerian Institute of Management and Member, Institute of Directors (loD). He started his career in 1983 as a Management Trainee at John Holt Nig. Plc and rose to become the Executive Director (Group Operations) before he was appointed as the Group Managing Director of O’dua Investment Company Limited in 2003. He is also a Director of several leading companies in Nigeria.

ENGR. S.A Adetunji, studied Engineering at the University of Lagos, and had his career enhanced and developed by the various positions he occupied in Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He was Group General Manager/Chief Executive of Nigerian Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), a Strategic Business Unit of NNPC. He is at present the Executive Vice-Chairman of Terra  Energy Services Nigeria Limited.He is a dynamic and resourceful Engineer.

He served on the Governing Board of several professional bodies and companies such as the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Dowell  Schlumberger Services. He is also the Chairman of the   Board of Governing Council of The Polytechnic, Ibadan.  His overseas exposure in terms of studies and courses attended has lent credence to his high profile in the Oil and Gas industry.

Lola holds Bsc (Hons) in Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as well as an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. She is also an Associatiate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (lCAN).She is an experienced Banker with over 15 years cognate experience in the financial industry. She started her banking career with, the former Nigeian American Merchant Bank (now First City Monument Bank) in 1989 for the one year mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC). She thereafter joined the former Citizens International Bank Limited (now Spring Bank PIc) and resigned as senior Manager and Head of Corporate Banking.

She was appointed Group Deputy Managing Director of True Bond Group of Companies, a non-bank financial institution with strong presence in the Capital Market, Private Equity, Oil and· Gas, Insurance, Publishing and Engineering since January, 2002.

She has attended numbers of specialized training courses, both locally and overseas, some of which include: Citicorp Institute for Global Finance, School of Banking New York, INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France and Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Investment Banking in Lagos Business School, Lagos Nigeria.

Olumuyiwa Ayojimi, Director

Ayojimi holds an LL.B degree from the Lagos State University, was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court, LLM (i.v) Strathclyde University Glasgow U.K and a Certification in Negotiation Conciliation and Arbitration.He worked in Fondex Gold Investments Limited and D. Toroak Industries as Company Secretary respectively. Had a brief stint in chambers of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice,  Lagos State among other Law firms before he joined the Partnership of De Cathedral and Associates where he heads the Corporate and Commercial  Practice Group.
Ayojimi is a professional member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, London, International Corporate Governance Network, the International Bar Association and the Ikeja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.

 

 Sam Onukwe, Director

Mr. Onukwue is currently the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Mega Equities Limited, a member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. A 1984 graduate of Accountancy from Yaba College of Technology, Sam also holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from University of Lagos (1994) and an M. Sc. in Corporate Governance from Leeds Metropolitan University (2008). He is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, and has been a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria since 2000.

He has worked variously as Assistant General Manager and Head of the Operations Group at Ivory Merchant Bank, Senior Partner at Ekwueme Onukwue & Co, Head of Nigeria Operations at Travelex Global, Executive Director (Operations & IT) at Citizen Bank/Spring Bank Plc.
